Why is calibration important for torque equipment?
Calibration ensures your torque equipment performs accurately and consistently, meeting industry standards and preventing errors in application.
What standards do your calibration services meet?
Our services are compliant with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards where available. In the case where a relevant ISO standard is not available, we refer to calibration standards created by National bodies such as the Metrology Society of Australia
How do you ensure the quality of your calibration services?
We maintain a stringent quality management system, and continuously train our staff to uphold the highest standards.
Our mid term goal is to obtain ISO17025 Compliance.
Please also note that all of our reference equipment is regularly calibrated by NATA Accredited facilities, ensuring traceability of your equipment to National or International standards.
Can you calibrate equipment from any manufacturer?
Yes, we have the expertise and equipment to calibrate torque tools from a wide range of manufacturers.
How long will my calibration take?
We generally operate on a first-come, first-served basis. This usually means we can turn around your tools within 2-3 days depending on the size of the job.
Please contact us if you have a pressing requirement to have your tools calibrated & serviced within a shorter time frame.
Do I receive a Calibration Certificate?
Absolutely! At Torque Lab, we try to minimise our impact on the environment and reduce paper wastage. This means that unless a customer specifically requests a paper version of the calibration certificate, we will email you a PDF file of your certificate.
At Torque Lab, we aim to provide you with the most relevant data and results from your calibration, so that you can have the best knowledge of how your equipment has performed.
Do you offer on-site calibration services?
At this stage, we have decided not to offer on-site calibration services. We aim to provide a cost effective solution for your equipment, and we feel that an on-site service, whilst offering convenience for the customer, also drives up the cost of our services significantly.
What should I do if my torque equipment fails calibration?
We offer repair and adjustment services to bring your equipment back into specification, whenever possible.
